ELA Teacher
I am a Ventura, California native and a graduate of Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, California. I attended Ventura College before transferring to California State University, Long Beach. I obtained my B.A. in Media Arts with a minor in Journalism at CSULB. I then relocated to Tucson, where I earned a Master of Arts degree in Journalism at the University of Arizona. I was a news and feature reporter in Southern California and later in Kansas. I had a good run as a professional journalist for both radiio and newspaper before embarking on a career as a teacher. In addition, I spent 25 years raising appaloosas and quarter horses before returning to Arizona in 2019. I am in the process of completing a master’s degree in Education through Fort Hays State University. I really enjoy teaching at Bisbee High School.
